” Turkey in the fight against the corona virus has been one of the most successful countries. We observe that some measures reduce the number of patients. Izmir, Aydin, Manisa, Usak, Mugla and Denizli We evaluate our fight against the epidemic. Regarding 6 provinces, the increase in the number of our cases in Izmir in the last month was 42 percent, and in the last week, the increase was 10 percent. At Aydin, we see a 5 percent decrease in the last week compared to a month ago. In Manisa, 30 percent increase in the last month, seems stable in the last week. The number of cases has been stable in the last month in Muğla. We see a 60 percent increase in Denizli compared to last month. In Uşak, there is a 40 percent increase in the last week.
The number of patients admitted to intensive care, meet the definition of critically ill and result in death is below the world average. Efforts like keeping the number of our tests high, identifying and isolating contacts, and early treatment of patients have been very effective in this.
INTENSIVE CARE OCCUPATION RATE 66 PERCENT
In Turkey, 48.5 percent of our current adult bed occupancy rate, which is less than 50 percent. Our adult intensive care occupancy rate is 66 percent and our respirator occupancy rate is 33 percent, so we can say that there is no problem overall.
