Karaismailoğlu, who has been investigating the construction site of the T26 Tunnel in the Demirköy district, which is under construction within the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train Project in the Bozüyük district, said that all the measures were taken in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health regarding the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19).

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that tunnel T26 is 6,800 meters long, and the work continues at a distance of 8,100 meters with its entry and exit structures.

Explaining that the tunnel between Bozüyük and Bilecik on the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed rail line will be completed after 14 minutes, Karaismailoğlu said that there was a major revolution in the railways under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and that it has been working with great devotion for years. .

Upon touching the railways, Karaismailoğlu continued his words as follows:

“We completely revamped a 400 kilometer line between Samsun and Sivas. Here we completely dismantled the rails of a line built in 1930; we made it electrified, signposted and put into operation. Again, there is a lot of fun work between Ankara and Sivas. Our 1,200 kilometer high-speed train line is currently operational, operational.

Our entire goal is to increase this to 5,500 kilometers in 2023. This way we will have a 17,500 kilometer railway line. Reduces traffic congestion when rail lines are complete and operational.
