There is no official decision on Secondary grades 5,6,7 and Baccalaureate grades 9,10 and 11, which are the last link in the transition to face-to-face education. The Ministry of National Education is in the process of evaluating the levels that have exceeded face-to-face education. Considering that the risk group increases in direct proportion to age, it is thought that these levels start education after a pause. Minister Selçuk shared that the evaluation of the other classes will take place in a few weeks. Underlining that no timetable is prepared, Selçuk said: “ There is no calendar, it cannot be because I do not know the course of the number of cases. I don’t know what the Scientific Committee will say a month later, they are watching, they don’t know right now. It is not very correct to say ‘it will be like this’ when you do not know. We have a great responsibility and we have to make very careful decisions under this responsibility. Our goal, our desire is to open them all” He said.
IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME APPLICATION IN EVERY PROVINCE!
When asked whether a gradual and diluted educational model will be implemented with respect to other levels and classes, Minister Selçuk responded by stating that it is currently considered as such. Students will be responsible for the EBA TV subjects and the class curriculum taught to them. Minister Selçuk that the exams will be face-to-face ”. Why do we do it face to face? Because if we don’t take an exam, do it in person or transform our exam form, there is a long-term problem that spans 4-5 years in terms of evaluation. The problem is that as student learning loss increases, the foundations associated with obtaining next year’s learning content are gradually disappearing. Therefore, we need to minimize these learning losses ”, he explained with these words.
