WHAT IS A SECONDARY EDUCATION SUCCESS SCORE? HOW IS IT CALCULATED?
It is the success score calculated with a formula determined according to the success of the grades obtained from the courses taken by each student who graduated from secondary education. It is also known as a short school score among students. Turkey, based on an overall assessment, high school graduation scores (high school graduation over 100 points) will be converted to obp’y multiplied by 5. Therefore, OBP will be 250 for diploma score lower than 50 and 500 for the highest diploma grade of 100. Diploma grades less than 50 will be assessed as 50. Twelve percent of the secondary school success score calculated as described above (coefficient = 0.12) it will be added to the scores obtained on the core exam and the candidate’s placement scores will be calculated.
