The coffin of the Gendarmerie Warrant Officer Sergeant Major Emre Dokumacı, who was martyred in the clash with members of the PKK terrorist organization in the Doğubayazıt district camp of Ağrı, was taken to his hometown of Çorum.
Halality was received for Mártir Dokumacı at his father’s home in the Kaleboğazı neighborhood of İskilip district. The funeral of the martyr Dokumacı was taken to the Great Mosque, where the ceremony was held, after the halal ceremony. The martyr’s father Hüseyin Dokumacı, his mother Şerife Dede, his fiancee Hatice Karagöz, his family and relatives, as well as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Tayyip Sabri Erdil, Çorum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, military officers and many people attended the funeral ceremony here.

The martyr’s fiancee, Hatice Karagöz, hugged the martyr’s coffin draped in the Turkish flag for minutes. The martyr’s relatives said: “Hatice, look at your fiancé one last time, your fiancee is leaving.” Hatice Karagöz, who found out that they were to be married a month later and was standing with difficulty, calmed the relatives.
