The incident took place around 02:00 at Mutlu Mahallesi, 706th Street, in the Mamak district of the capital. According to the information obtained, Gökhan A., who reached the sixth floor of building number 50, knocked on the door of his lover Sevgi T. Gökhan A., who broke the window of the house when Sevgi T. did not open the door, entered out the window and began arguing with Sevgi T. The argument soon turned into a fight. Aiming the gun he was carrying at Sevgi T., Gökhan A. fired two shots. While one of the bullets grazed Sevgi T.’s right arm, the other struck his left chest.
‘LET THE ROOM I WILL HIT YOU THERE’
According to the information obtained, Gökhan A. yelled at Sevgi T. “Go to the other room, I’ll shoot you there.” Later, Gökhan A. locked his daughters Seda and Sedef, who were from the husband of Sevgi T., whom he divorced 5 years ago, in a separate room. Following notification of Sevgi T.’s daughters who were at home, many police officers and 112 emergency medical care teams were dispatched to the scene. Sevgi T. was transferred to the Hacettepe University Medical School Hospital after the first intervention at the scene. Sevgi T., despite all the interventions in the hospital, could not save himself and lost his life.
While the search continues for Gökhan A., who escaped through the window and disappeared after the incident, the police launched an investigation into the incident.
