The incident took place at night in the central Seyhan district, Hadırlı district. Volkan T., who dined at a restaurant, was attacked with pistols and shotguns by unidentified persons who allegedly ambushed him outside the premises. During the attack, Volkan T., who drew the pistol at his waist and responded by firing, was seriously injured by bullets that hit various parts of his body, and Osman S., who worked as a musician at the restaurant, was slightly injured by the bullets that hit his leg. While both wounded fell in blood, the attackers fled the scene by getting into the car they came from. The surrounding people took Volkan T., who was the target of the bullets, to a private hospital in the city and Osman S. to the Seyhan State Hospital. Volkan T., who was in serious condition, was transferred to the Balcalı Hospital of the Çukurova University School of Medicine after his first intervention in the private hospital. Investigative teams at the scene found a total of 14 empty cartridges belonging to the rifle and pistol.
Taking steps to catch the suspects, the police continue the investigation in a multifaceted way.
