Noting that the date of the elections has set a deadline for the task of this transitional administration, Williams stressed that only the powers and duties of the Presidential Council or the government that will assume the executive are discussed, but that the names that will be assumed are not discussed. they will assume these roles.

Williams stressed that the UN will provide technical support for the elections and that Libya’s own independent electoral agency will administer the elections.
