Benefiting from the new enforcement agreement, the leader of organized crime organization Alaattin Çakıcı was released from the closed Sincan prison in Ankara yesterday.
Çakıcı hit the agenda when MHP leader Bahçeli spoke her name almost two years ago and called for a “general amnesty”. He also visited Bahçeli Çakıcı in prison.
Çakıcı’s lawyer, Zeynep Çiftçi, shared his client’s handwritten statement with his social media account. In the statement that Çakıcı thanked Erdoğan and Bahçeli, it was said:
“All prisoners, who have been released from captivity and released under the new execution law, are friends, personally, and the legendary late Turkmen Bey, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, and the other architect of this law, for the survival of our state for the past four years. ” I would like to express my deepest respect to our President, Mr. Tayyip Erdogan, who has never committed himself to Western imperialism, on behalf of all the prisoner friends who have brought his name and freedom. “
