Istanbul began calmly on the second Saturday, when the curfew was not applied within the scope of the measures of the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19). At noon the dynamism of traffic increased, important streets and squares of the city and coastal areas.
According to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality traffic map, the density in the city was 72 percent at 3:05 p.m.
On the Anatolian side, traffic, flowing in both directions from the D-100 highway in the morning hours, was observed to intensify from time to time. Although calm was observed in the morning hours on Bağdat Street, some citizens were seen walking and playing sports on Caddebostan beach.

The citizens also preferred beaches and groves in Beykoz. Citizens who preferred to walk by the sea showed special interest in the fish and bread businesses.
On the other hand, it was seen that citizens marched on the beach and Üsküdar square, where the intensity was experienced from the morning hours. The teams, under the coordination of Üsküdar district governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, inspected cafes and restaurants, and employees and citizens were warned about masks, distance and hygiene rules.
MOBILITY IN COASTAL AREAS
In Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, one of the most vibrant areas of the city, the tranquility seen in the morning hours begins to give way to dynamism.
Traffic density was observed to be experienced from time to time in coastal areas such as Arnavutköy, Bebek, Baltalimanı and Avcılar. It was observed that some citizens walked through these areas from the morning hours and some were fishing.

In Beylikdüzü, the fluid traffic in the morning hours has given way to density. It was observed that especially citizens travel by public transport and the density increased at these points.

As part of the measures against the coronavirus, weekend curfews have been imposed for some time. In accordance with the decision made at the cabinet meeting, the Saturday curfew was lifted. On the second Saturday, when the restrictions were lifted, there was a crowd on Kadıköy Caddebostan beach. The people of Istanbul, who also saw the sun, came here. The citizens, mostly young, who went to the beach, marched. Some of them were seen cycling. Others spent time sitting on the grass or by the sea. The crowd on Caddebostan Beach was also seen from the air.
