Information from the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs began to be installed on new driver’s licenses issued by the identity cards of the Republic of Turkey.
According to İHA news, citizens who had previously made an appointment at the Adıyaman Provincial Population and Citizenship Directorate had their driver’s license information uploaded.
The new system began to be implemented, which will take identity and driver’s license information on a single card. Citizens can now only carry their identification cards.

For the transaction to go through, the driver’s license and identity must be a new identity. The driver’s license information will also be included in the new identities of those who have a license and renew their identity.
The free download of information is not done through the web portal of the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs “randevu.nvi.gov.tr” or from the Call Center (Alo 199) without prior appointment.
The director of the Adıyaman Central Population and Citizenship District, Salih Yılmaz, stated that the process of transferring the information from the driver’s license to the identity has started, but that there is no transaction without an appointment, and asked citizens to come to addresses by appointment.
