The body of a newborn baby was found in a plastic bag next to a garbage container in the Avcılar district of Istanbul. The police, who started the study immediately after the incident, arrested Gurbet Y., who left the baby dead. Following the woman’s notice, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Although it was determined that the newborn, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance, died, the neighbors reacted to the incident. Police teams, who inspected security cameras throughout the region, began working on the incident.
Teams affiliated with the Murder Branch Office of Public Safety captured the woman named Gurbet Y. The woman, who was arrested, was transferred to the Gayrettepe Public Safety Directorate. As the suspect’s testimony continued, the moments when Gurbet Y. walked to the dumpster with a large white bag in hand were reflected on the security camera.
