President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at the 41st Commando Brigade Command Ceremony to be held at the 105th Artillery Regiment Command in Çorlu district. The highlights of Erdogan’s statements are as follows:
“We have just delivered our brigade banner, which is entrusted to our nation. We know better that the meaning and importance of the banner in military service is a trust that must be protected at the cost of life. Show that the glorious ancestors are the glorious descendants.
Each element of the TSK is an integral part of the victories obtained. Our commando units, which have been fighting at the forefront on all fronts throughout their history and showing the world what it means to scare death, are of special importance. As commandos, shaking the mountains you tread and bringing a peaceful climate to the plains you traverse, you are the fear of the enemy and the source of our nation’s confidence. Whoever has coveted the land of our country, our call to prayer, awaits a painful fate at the hands of our commandos. Whoever covets the unity and solidarity of the nation will find our commands.
I remember with mercy all of our martyrs, veterans and heroes who entered the land to preserve this land as our homeland for 1000 years. I wish my Lord to protect our heroes who are still on duty in the fight against terrorism and in our operations inside and outside our borders. “
