Regarding developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said: “There are those who come from thousands of kilometers and try to intimidate, claim rights, play the role of a guardian angel. They cannot be accepted. “These come and go when they come,” he said.
Akar, together with the Chief of Staff General Yaşar Güler, the Commander of the Land Forces, General Ümit Dündar, the Commander of the Naval Forces, Adnan Adnan Özbal, and the Commander of the Air Force, General Hasan Küçükakyüz, conducted examinations and inspections at the Combined Air Operations Center.

There are those who come from thousands of kilometers and try to intimidate, make claims, act as guardian angels. They cannot be accepted. They come and go as they come, ”he said.
“TWICE, TWO FOUR”
Turkey, international law, maritime law, court decisions, emphasizing that precedent and act in accordance with good neighborly relations Akar, said:
“Greece is claiming that it is right in a way that does not conform to reason, saying ‘I think so’ with France behind it and the EU behind it. Even if you unite the world, you will never be able to tell us the words “two times two is five” that you put forward. This is not real. It doesn’t matter who’s behind you, if you can’t change the fact that “two times two equals four.” Cyprus is our national cause, regardless of the understanding that we protected the rights of our brothers there in 1974, we are in the same position in 2020. “
“FRANCE, WHAT RIGHT DO YOU COME WITH?”
Claiming that Greece armed 16 candidates in violation of the Lausanne Treaty, Akar said: “You cannot do such a thing from now on.”
Despite all these violations by Turkey, however, he stressed that the Akar dialogue said:
“Greece and Turkey … But here there are thugs who are difficult to understand. For example, France, there is no guarantor, there is no agreement, you are not the representative of the EU, with what right do you come here? If you go out alone and say : ‘I’m going to be a hero’, that bullying time is over. We don’t seek anxiety or intimidation. We pursue our rights and interests with faith, knowledge, logic, science, law, clearly and clearly. No one can avoid this either. “
Expressing that they expect other friendly and allied countries to be objective on this issue, Akar said: “Third countries should also consider this issue in a reasonable and rational way. If this happens, only this problem can be solved. If you lift the embargo on southern Cyprus and try to break the balance in this way, this will bring conflict, not peace, but insolvency. Everyone should know that too, ”he said.
At the end of his words, Akar wished his companions and colleagues who continue their activities on land, sea and air for the unity, integrity and security of the country and said: “I wish God’s mercy for our martyrs and a healing urgent for our veterans. “I would like to express my gratitude and gratitude for the great sacrifice and contribution that we have come to this day.”
