Mehmet Yıldırım, who went on a treasure hunt on Damlataş Beach, said tourists were looking for jewelry that they dropped while swimming in the sea in summer. Yıldırım said: “We collect valuable items that tourists drop in the summer when the big waves bring them in winter. We contribute to the economy by bringing these items to the surface rather than underground and disappearing. Previously, I found coins and 26 similar historical artifacts and delivered them to our state. “Usually after the rain, the jewels come with big waves,” he said.
