FIGHT CORONAVIRUS
Today we celebrate the 40th meeting of our Cabinet in the Presidential Government system. We are preparing the roadmap for the next period. INSPECTIONS WILL BE TIGHTER
We deeply regret the cases and deaths. We want our citizens to strictly abide by the rules. Cafes and restaurants will be controlled much more strictly in terms of compliance with the rules. Standing passengers will not be allowed on public transport. The penalties incurred, especially the use of masks, will definitely be charged. Intensive care statistics of cases and deaths are also published each night. Coronavirus is a disease that has not yet been fully resolved, so an effective treatment has not been found. It forces each individual to take their own precautions. As a government, we are expanding diagnostic possibilities with many high-capacity hospitals that we opened after March. Our Ministry of the Interior has provided the best implementation of epidemic measures with the circulars it has published. Once again, I would like to emphasize that our citizens do the real work. As long as we don’t stay away from crowded activities, neither the hospitals we open nor punitive measures alone can protect us from the virus.
‘WE MUST DOWNLOAD CASES UNDER 100’
With autumn approaching, we should reduce the number of daily cases to less than 100, and the number of deaths to 0, if possible, without contracting illnesses such as colds. As a country and nation, we apply the methods of protection against the epidemic in the most ideal way. I wish my condolences to all our citizens who lost their lives in the epidemic, to the relatives of God’s mercy. I wish my Lord to protect our nation and country from all kinds of diseases, internal and external attacks. From medicines to disinfectants, we have produced and put into use all the necessary tools to combat the epidemic as a national production.
SUPPORT TO EMPLOYERS
We had the opportunity to once again test the robustness of the overall health insurance system and our health infrastructure, which everyone envied. Under the shield of social protection, we have implemented many programs to support our citizens with low income and employment. We transferred to our citizens the amount of 2,000 million 76 million lire collected in the “We are enough” campaign with payments of one thousand lire per household through the social assistance and solidarity incentive fund. We encourage our employers, who change to normal working conditions, to continue their activities by providing insurance premium support above the minimum wage for up to 3 months. Although we experienced a contraction as expected in the second quarter of the year, it is a fact that we are in a better situation than many countries in the world, including developed countries. All data indicates that we will experience a strong recovery in the third quarter. We closed our August exports with a figure higher than the same month last year. Although the economic support packages announced by many developed countries remained on paper, we realized almost everything we promised.

Since the day the epidemic began, we have maintained our distance education system in the best way at the primary, secondary and higher education levels. In the new period, we will continue education with a system where we will carry out both face-to-face education and distance education, taking into account the conditions of the epidemic. In accordance with the preference of families, we open our schools to education, beginning with our 1st grade preschool and elementary school students. This practice may differ in our cities depending on the course of the epidemic.
