I congratulate my friends who made a great revolution and who strive to ensure the satisfaction of our millions of citizens, who effectively receive service for millions of inhabitants and citizens, and who make use of technology to facilitate the work of our citizens in all their shapes.

In a very short time in Turkey, I would like to express that we made a very big change.
In 1995 I was a district president. Three out of 10 complaints I received were from people who waited in line in front of the civil registry offices for days.
Now I would be glad if our Director General of Population showed it; I think our new concept should have started in Ankara. It is an extraordinary advance for us that our citizens provide all the possibilities of technology when they enter. I would like to mention that our population management represents the modern face of Turkey’s technology. We are proud of you for him.
Our citizen gets an appointment in one day. We especially did a ranking. Here are the districts that scheduled an appointment for 70 days, 50 days, 30 days … Districts that scheduled an appointment for 20-25 days were normal for us. We made an effort on how to lower the 70s and 90s.
We said, let’s get the three together. We start, what is the reason? Our citizen should not go to the police and face a passport. The job of the police is not to issue a passport. Or it is not to issue a traffic registration certificate. Or not give a driver’s license. We did give it one day after all. We said April 2, 2018. We will do all three together. The whole system that will go from the police to there in one day, the passport-driver’s license system. It will be integrated and at the same time it will begin to serve the citizenry. I don’t know if this is crazy. I wouldn’t if I had my mind today. For him, there were no minor issues for 4-5 days here, but it ended until next Monday. And indeed, facilitation has been provided for our citizens.
8-9 minutes maximum. Sometimes there is a problem in our seniors getting fingerprints. Our friends have to spend a little more time. This happens if a maximum of 8 minutes is processed. So what happens next? Go fingerprint driver’s license, fingerprint passport … Now it’s all integrated. It has made us so comfortable with fingerprinting events that the technological integration of millions of issues from searching across files has also illuminated thousands of incidents.
THIS IS A REVOLUTION TOO: THE AUTHENTICATION DEVICE …
I hope that we will be introducing the electronic identity verification system in the early periods of next year. This is also a revolution, a change. This is the point that brings us to another point as technology. You go to the notary, you give a birth certificate, you do it or not … There has been a lot of fraud. It also includes banks, public institutions, the private sector. Something simple. A small authentication device. He will go, pass his identity there, put his finger there. The other party will tell the person of the notary that I am; finished. He will look at your face, he will look at your photo. From the moment this provided another place to go through all of Turkey. Fraud and counterfeiting will be prevented, and all institutions will have a structure that will take them to a very serious point in terms of their control mechanism. All the infrastructure is finished, the software is finished, the regulations are finished. With the steps that we will take now, I hope in 2021; I hope it takes a step after the driver’s license and the identity problem.
Let me now summarize this project. From September 21, 2020; now this is my card. I have a driver’s license, two guns, I have a bank credit card. There is an identity card issued by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. YOU have a card, so you have a child. I also carry this in my pocket. Our concern is to reduce the swelling of this card.
There is a chip behind our identity. There are 5 areas in this, we want to use four of them.

Starting Monday, new types of driver’s licenses Turkey will begin to install the new generation identification card requesting an appointment from the general population at the authorities.

When the validity period of the driver’s license expires, it will be automatically removed from the ID cards, just like the renewal of old cards.

So we installed this, it won’t last a lifetime.
Do we all have to go? No. Those who are going to obtain a new identity card or a new passport-driver’s license may request and do them. Secondly, from now on, those who are going to obtain a new identity card will ask themselves the following question. “Sir, if you have a driver’s license, would you like to install it?” You will now see two transactions together and they will load automatically. From the moment you go to the card address, both your driver’s license and identification will be on this card.
Those who have an identity card with a driver’s license can go and load it. But if there are those who want to apply for a new identity, they will have a driver’s license when they go to the new identity address with a cross when they apply.
To test the system, the driving licenses of 3,500 employees of our population management were uploaded to their identity cards and the application was implemented.
All technical measures have been taken for this.
