In the Silivri district of Istanbul, a woman and a man were attacked with a shotgun in front of their building. While two people died at the scene, the suspect disappeared.
The bloody raid took place at night in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, Meneviş Street. According to the DHA news, Mesut S. and Tülay A. were attacked with a shotgun in front of their house where it was learned that they lived together. The suspect, who has not yet been identified, fled after carrying out the attack.
Neighbors of the neighborhood, who heard the shots, reported the situation to the police. Following the warning, many police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that Mesut S. and Tülay A., who were attacked, lost their lives. Crime scene investigation teams and the prosecutor conducted investigations at the scene where the couple was killed. While the lifeless bodies of the deceased were being taken to the morgue, the police began an operation to capture the suspect who carried out the attack.
