In this context, it was stated that the humanitarian ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia will start on October 26 at 08:00 local time (24:00 US Eastern Time).

In the statement, it was also stated that the United States mediated the negotiations between the foreign ministers of the two countries and the member states of the Minsk Group to bring Azerbaijan and Armenia closer together for the peaceful solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

On Friday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held separate meetings with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia and gave the message that they will continue their diplomatic efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
