A forest officer found the body of a woman wrapped in a blanket among the trees at the Yaren Tepe location in the Atatürk district last night. The gendarmerie teams, who arrived in the region following notification, determined that the body belonged to Ayşe Nazlı Kınacı, whose disappearance request was submitted at the Alsancak police station on February 15. Given this fact, the teams of the Public Security Directorate of the Provincial Police took charge of the investigation.
After the work of the crime scene investigation teams, Kınacı’s body was taken to the morgue of the Izmir Institute of Forensic Medicine. As a result of the investigations, it was determined that Kınacı left her home in the Konak district on February 12 and went to her boyfriend RS, who lived in the Mersinalani district of the Seferihisar district. Referring to his testimony, RS said that he did not see Kınacı, of whom he had spoken, after he left.

As part of the investigation, the teams examined the security cameras in the region and determined that Ayşe Nazlı Kınacı got into a vehicle. The vehicle was determined to belong to T.Ö.İ. Captured by the Gendarmerie in the district of Seferihisar T.Ö.İ. handed over to the police.
