On August 30, Victory Day is celebrated with ceremonies that take place throughout the country.

NUTUK SECTIONS THAT TELL THE VICTORY IN THE EXHIBITION

THE VICTORY DAY CELEBRATIONS IN IZMIR BEGAN IN THE PLAZA DE LA REPÚBLICA

THEY READ THE HYMN IZMIR IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE SIGN
Teachers and students from the Atatürk Art Education Center (ATASEM) in Serik district sang the Izmir Anthem in sign language on the occasion of August 30th Victory Day. With the teacher of the course Elvan Alataş for the hearing impaired, 8 students made a video clip singing the Izmir Hymn in sign language. ATASEM course center unit supervisor Şeyda Öztürk said that there are various courses such as computer science, foreign language and sign language within the course center.

‘VICTORY DAY’ FLIGHT FROM 540 METERS OF HEIGHT
Turkey’s top athletes and professional base jumper Genghis Kocak took a special leap on Victory Day on August 30. During the jump in Erzurum, Koçak performed a “Wingsuit Base Jump” from a 540 meter high cliff and glided like a bird in the air for 20 seconds.
