While the vote counting process continues in the contested states in the presidential elections, which have not concluded, in the United States, Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate, addresses the public in his native Delaware.
The headlines for Biden’s comments are as follows:
Donald Trump doesn’t want to accept the outcome of this election, but the people do. Imagine that the government is for the people. People rule here. So act accordingly. The people will determine who will be the American president. After election night, it is clear that we now need 270 of the delegate votes. I’m sure we will be the winners when the count is over.
We won Wisconsin by 20 thousand votes, we are ahead by 35 thousand votes in Michigan. The census in Michigan will end soon. We get the majority vote of the American people. The votes will gradually increase. There is a difference of about 3 million votes. This will be an unprecedented difference in history.
We face difficult times. After this election is over, what we all do has to be for America. We need to reduce tension. We will listen to each other, we will respect each other. As a nation, we have to be united. I know this will be difficult. I am aware that there are many opinions among themselves. We should no longer look at our competitors as enemies. We are not the enemy.
I ran the campaign as a Democrat, but I will be President of the United States. We will work for all Americans. Those who don’t vote for me and those who vote won’t make any difference.
Every vote must be counted. No one can take away our democracy. America has seen many things. We as a people cannot be silenced, we will not be silenced. We will not give credit to bullying. This alone will not be my victory. It will be the victory of the United States.
