At the meeting of the General Assembly of the National Assembly, the “Memorandum of Understanding between Azerbaijan and Turkey on strategic cooperation in the media space” was discussed.

APPROVED BY NEGOTIATION BETWEEN TWO COUNTRIES

Paşayeva stressed that the memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the “Common Media Platform” is a very important document in line with the “one nation, two states” principle of the late President Heydar Aliyev.
Underlining that they have approved an important agreement to achieve common goals more quickly, Paşayeva said that issues such as the joint fight against disinformation found in the international arena and accurate information to the world public opinion are important.
Both agreements were signed in the framework of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Baku on December 10, 2020.
