Last minute amendments were made in the General Assembly to the Bill to Prevent the Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. With the addition of an article on the bill on checks, the provision that regulates the presentation of the check to the bank for not paying the check before the date of the written regulation that expires on 12/31/1 was extended for one more year. 2020 is invalid. Thus, the checks, which put millions of citizens in trouble during the pandemic period, will continue to be presented to the bank before their collection time.
Financial constraint
With another proposal, the scope of the regulation on the provision of client information by lawyers to the reaction of professional organizations, especially the Union of Bar Associations, and the public, was reduced especially in “financial transactions.” Consequently, the regulation establishes: “Not contrary to the provisions of other laws regarding the right to defense and the first paragraph of article 35 of the Law on Advocacy and the sale of real estate, the establishment and suppression of limited rights in kind, except for the information obtained by professional studies carried out in the field of alternative dispute resolution methods. Lawyers, limited to the constitution and merger of companies, foundations and associations, and the execution of financial operations related to their management, transmission and liquidation, and the management of banks, securities and all types of accounts and the assets included in these accounts.
