Due to the decrease in tax collection due to the economic recession and the lack of control of the budget deficit, the government put a new peace agreement on taxes and SSI premiums on its agenda.
Mehmet Muş, Vice President of AKP Group, today held a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the regulation of the new employment package presented to Parliament.
Responding to questions from journalists, Muş announced that work has started to restructure SGK premium and tax debts.
Noting that the arrangement will be placed on the TBMM Plan and Budget Committee’s agenda after the arrangement is finalized, Muş said:
* “Let’s not say tax amnesty, we are currently working on structuring the SGK tax and premium debts.
* We are trying to complete the technical parts.
* We will present this to our Budget Plan Commission during the negotiations of our bill. We have what we have done in the past. It will be similar to them.
* As the technical parts continue, we will share them with you when we deliver these offers to the commission stage. “
