According to the news reported by Bloomberg at the last minute, it was claimed that the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Accord, Fayez al-Sarraj, was preparing to resign.
Ankara-backed Fayez al-Sarraj met with President Erdogan earlier this month.
In Bloomberg’s special report, it was stated that while Fayez al-Sarraj was preparing to resign, this process will continue for a time. Speaking to Bloomberg, officials said al-Sarraj will resign, but will continue to work temporarily for negotiations in Geneva next month during the transition period.
