The Ministry of the Interior indicated that within the framework of the circular on “Curfew restrictions” sent to the governorates, the curfew will be applied between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9:00 p.m. on Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday until a new decision is made. In the written statement of the Ministry, it was recalled that new decisions were made in the Presidential Cabinet, which met under the presidency of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Erdogan affirmed that the coronavirus measures will be regulated by the circular of the Interior Ministry and will be implemented from Tuesday.
The new measures announced by President Erdogan are as follows; “A curfew will be imposed every day between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM Monday through Friday. Restaurants will not be able to serve except take-out services. Citizens over 65 and under 20 will not be able to use public transport.
People over 65 and under 20 may not use public transport. Shopping malls and neighborhood markets can be accessed with the HES code.
To manage the risk posed by the coronavirus epidemic (Covid19) in terms of public health and public order, ensure social isolation, protect physical distance and control the rate of spread of the disease, the basic principles of the period of controlled social life in which we are, as well as the rules of grooming, masks and distance. rules and measures to follow in the field;
The recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee of the Coronavirus are determined and implemented in accordance with the instructions of our President. At the current stage, the public knows that there has been a rapid increase in the spread of the coronavirus epidemic throughout the world and especially in Europe, and that there is an increase in the number of cases and patients in our country. In this context, in line with the decisions made in the Presidential Cabinet convened under the presidency of our President on 11.30.2020;
Until a new decision is made, the curfew will be restricted on weekends, starting at 9:00 p.m. on Fridays, covering all of Saturday and Sunday, and ending at 5:00 a.m. on Mondays.
As the first application, a curfew will be imposed for all our citizens, starting at 9:00 p.m. on Friday 04.12.2020, and ending at 05:00 a.m. on Monday 07.12.2020, and the practice will continue the same form the following weekends.
During the curfew, the places and people specified in the Annex will be exempt from the restriction in order to guarantee the continuity of the productive, manufacturing, supply and logistics chains and the continuity of health, agricultural and forestry activities.
