According to the news from Emrah Doğru of Habertürk, the authorities are conducting an investigation at his home for psychologist Doğan Cüceloğlu, who was found dead in his home. The cause of Cüceloğlu’s death is under investigation.
WHO IS DOĞAN CÜCELOĞLU?
Cüceloğlu was born in Mersin Silifke in 1938 as the eleventh child in a family with 11 children. He graduated from high school in Ankara and Kırklareli and graduated from the Department of Psychology at Istanbul University.
He completed his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Illinois in the United States. Worked at Bogazici University, Hacettepe University of Turkey, University of California at Berkeley with a Fulbright Scholarship Visitors a year, worked as a member of the faculty.
Cüceloğlu, a psychologist with more than forty published scientific articles and a communication psychologist who offers developmental seminars within the framework of scientific psychology to various communities, worked at California State University in Fullerton, USA between 1980-1996.
Since 1996, Turkey’s university students, teachers, parents and entrepreneurs seminars, conferences and workshops. Cüceloğlu, who has published his books in Turkish since 1990, is the name of the author of books that examine the thoughts, feelings and behaviors of Turks within the concepts of scientific psychology. Skilled psychologist Doğan Cüceloğlu, who is married to Yıldız Cüceloğlu, also has a son named Timur.
