AK Party Chairman and Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 7th Ordinary Provincial Congresses of his party in Isparta, Burdur, Gümüşhane, Kastamonu and Sinop.
The highlights of President Erdogan’s statements are as follows;
Hopefully, we will be able to end the epidemic again in a few weeks.
We have taken steps to reduce the possibility of virus transmission by minimizing human mobility. If the restrictions are not followed, we may take additional action.
The attacks that we have been suffering one after another for a while and the traps that we have encountered aim to confine us to the steppes of Anatolia. We break this dirty script and throw it away. We hold more tightly to our homeland, adhan and flag. With the prayers of all our friends who have turned their hearts and eyes to us along with our own citizens, we have arrived in these days overcoming obstacles. We have been left with the enthusiasm of those who think they can take our country using their pliers inside as they used to do in the past with sneaky tricks.
(Period of reform in law and economics)
We have never given up on our determination to change. Now, we are beginning a breakthrough that will take this further with new legal and economic reforms.
We have much more to do together.
(Statement by Bülent Arınç de Selahattin Demirtaş and Osman Kavala)
We see that we are trying to start a new fighting fire lately. Nobody’s personal statements can be related to the president, our party, our government. There is not the slightest change in our course. No one involved in terrorism can be on our side or on our elbows. It can never, ever be defensible. Go and deal with your inner struggles. Think of this country from the side of the nation.
Tayyip Erdogan and his colleagues who killed our Yasin Börü will never be able to defend the perpetrators of the Kobani massacre.
We have never been an advocate for Gezi events, today and tomorrow, who is currently in and on them.
We cannot be the defenders of the planners and financiers of the Gezi protests.
I would like to express my gratitude once again to Mr. Bahçeli and to the entire MHP community for supporting us in all matters for the benefit of the country and the nation, especially the attempted coup of July 15 and the Presidential System of Government. I hope we have more work to do and policies to implement together.
We always see ourselves as part of Europe. As long as we were not forced to pursue other objectives, we preferred Europe. We have no problem with the territorial integrity of any country. But if it is a crime to hit those who have a past full of colonialism and cruelty, we are guilty.
We call on the European Union: “Keep your promises to our country from full membership to the issue of refugees, let’s establish closer and more efficient cooperation.”
