The statement by the President of Antalyaspor, Ali Şafak Öztürk, is as follows:
Dear Antalyaspor Community;
Let’s say first what should be said last; As Öztürk family, we decided to leave the Antalyaspor management.
As we leave, we need to make this statement to clearly share with the public the issue of “where we buy it, where we come from and under what conditions.” As the Öztürk family, we took over the flag with this glorious shield on June 30, 2016, with a loan of 41 million euros on that day’s exchange rate. To this day, Antalyaspor A.Ş. it has 7 million 700 thousand euros of files in litigation and current debt. Until January 1, 2021, all accounts receivable from the current technical team, players and staff have been paid. In this process, the total sponsorship payments we make to companies belonging to the Öztürk family are TL 45 million. Additionally, TL 85 million in cash was spent for Antalyaspor as the Öztürk family. Apart from these payments, which are 130 million TL in total, we will continue to pay 61 million euros and 88 million TL, which are the economic expenses of our club, which are seen as bank debts, like the Öztürk family. As of today, there is no performance, assignment or restriction on the income of Antalyaspor A.Ş. Furthermore, our overdue accounts receivable from TFF are 9 million 900 thousand TL, and the expected amount of the refund of the withholding is 8 million 600 thousand TL.
As a result; In today’s financial state, we leave Antalyaspor, which we assume with a debt of 41 million euros, almost like a debt-free club.
With this financial structure, Antalyaspor has become one of the most debt-free clubs in the Super League, as the debt burden is financed by us. If we need to briefly review the services we have provided thus far to sustain the existence of our club and create permanent sources of income;
Our annual revenue from excavation work has been regularized between TL 5 million and TL 10 million. The gas station, whose current value is approximately TL 30 to 40 million, was also brought to the club during this period.
The field and the Hasan Subaşı facility building were completely renovated, the Atilla Vehbi guest facilities continued to be modernized according to the scientific conditions of the day, and 2 additional grass pitches were constructed.
But;
During this time, our family has worn out both financially and spiritually.
Based on the decision we made as a family, we decided to leave Antalyaspor Management. In making this decision, we say goodbye with an image of which we are proud.
Taking into account as of today the Turkish Super League staff, which contains the minimum number of foreign players, in almost all age categories of domestic players, for example, the number of young players that infrastructure and team play brought a club.
By breaking many records, such as the highest points, the highest ranked league finish, the most wins in a season, the fewest losses, the audience record in the club’s 55-year history, we raised and lowered the bar. for the next administrations.
Taking into account the scoring status of the last 5 years, we became the sixth most successful team in the Super League while on duty. Pandemic period of the departure from Turkey, with a management style, examples will be shown in the world, not only in the field, in the most sensitive way in terms of health and we made a great sacrifice by falling on us.
Our feature that will be the most necessary pride for us, the same season in most of the infrastructure from the player to the team to bring the substrate, 14 national extraction players and now our projects regularly give Turkish football a growing athlete thanks to the infrastructure cited in Turkey. Our success is not only increasing the quality of our staff each year, but also creating our dynamism and a healthy club structure with young star candidates.
We have said that from day one we did not pursue advertisements, seats or offices, and today we made the decision to leave the administration with the same statements. With our conviction that Antalyaspor will not be left unattended, we pave the way for those who believe they will do better than us and wish our club success in the coming term.
