Pashinyan, who was severely defeated by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, where Armenia occupies the occupying position, had to sign an agreement under the mediation of Russia.
For Pashinyan, who was declared a traitor in his own country, people took to the streets and demanded his resignation protesting for him since November 9, when the agreement was signed.
ACTIONS CONTINUE
Protesters demanding Pashinyan’s resignation in the capital city of Yerevan, closed some central streets, especially the parliament building and Bagramyan street, where the presidential residence is located.
Although the police took security measures in the city, the protesters continued to roam the streets of Yerevan, chanting “Pashinyan resign”, “Traitor Pashinyan”, “Get out Pashinyan”.
From time to time there have been verbal taunts between police and protesters trying to avoid protests.
The opposition called on people to participate in the demonstrations launched at night.
The people of Armenia started the protests on November 10, after Pashinyan accepted defeat against Azerbaijan.
