In the schools where the village schools are located, face-to-face education 5 days a week, exams will be held as before the epidemic. Students who continue their education with full face-to-face or distance education 2 days a week will be assessed in the school setting.
In the letter sent by the Ministry to the National Directorate of Education of 81 provinces; It was indicated that the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year will begin on Monday, August 31, 2020 and end on Friday, January 22, 2021. In the letter, which explained the measures to be taken in terms of education, training, management and operation in extraordinary situations with the circulars previously prepared, and the evaluation processes were determined.
According to this; Along with face-to-face training activities, distance education activities will be included in the scope of measurement and evaluation. According to the decisions taken by the provincial / district directorates of national education in cooperation with the provincial / district sanitation committees, the measurement and evaluation practices will be carried out in the schools (village schools) where face-to-face education takes place. out 5 days a week, as before the epidemic.
TO BE DONE IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
Exams for students who do distance education 2 days a week and on other days or who continue their education only with distance education at the request of their parents, and for students in classes who only continue distance education from the beginning of the academic year 2020-2021; It will be carried out in the school environment, but the student who has a chronic illness or is ill or in contact due to the coronavirus epidemic, will be taken to the examination at the appropriate time and in an isolated environment.
Students who are unable to participate in the exams for any reason and whose excuses are deemed appropriate by the school administration will be brought to the exam at a time determined by the course teacher and upon prior notification to the student. In the exams that will be carried out in the schools, the measurement and evaluation principles of the curriculum of the subject will be followed, and the date of the exams will be decided by the board of class / area group leaders of the schools. The duration of the exam for each course to be examined will be planned in 1 course hour and the exam will be prepared according to this period.
THE EXAM CAN ALSO BE TAKEN ON SATURDAYS
If deemed necessary, it will be possible to take exams in schools on Saturdays. Exam dates will be announced to students at least 1 week in advance and will be recorded in the e-School system. Students who are enrolled in regional secondary boarding schools and who follow the educational and training process through distance education will be able to stay in the hostel on the days of their exam dates, taking into account the boarding capacity, the transport conditions and the conditions of hygiene. According to the participation of students in face-to-face education, live lectures and / or follow-up and EBA TV lesson activities, each lesson will receive 2 lessons per week with 2 hours or less, and students with more than 2 hours per week they will receive 3 lessons.
COURSES WITHOUT EXAM
There will be no exams in visual arts, music, physical education and games, physical education and sports, road safety, human rights, citizenship and democracy, technology and design, information technology and software, the life of the Prophet, basic religious knowledge and elective courses. The completion points of these courses will be created with the participation points in the course activities and the project points, if any. It will be ensured that applications for course projects and activities can be presented in person or live and in other online environments (email, etc.), depending on the nature of the course. In the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, if there is any exam or evaluation request that has been carried out so far, these will be valid and will be processed in the e-School system.
In all measurement and evaluation practices, all measures for the coronavirus epidemic will be taken in full and on time.
