TABLET SUPPORT FOR NEEDED STUDENTS FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF KONYAALTI
The October Ordinary Assembly Meeting of Konyaaltı Municipality was held at Nazım Hikmet Congress and Fair Center under the chairmanship of Semih Esen. At the parliamentary meeting where 11 agenda items were present, President Esen brought the issue of tablets or computers, which became a major problem for distance education students due to Kovid-19 conditions, to the parliament agenda. The mayor of Konyaaltı, Esen, stated that the families made an intense request from the municipality for the need for tablets. Stating that there is no tablet or computer in every house for economic reasons, Esen said: “We tried to meet the demands that came to us according to the possibilities. However, many demands continue to come to our Konyaaltı district governorate and our municipality”.
SUPPORT TO STUDENTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF NİLÜFER
The Nilüfer municipality distributes tablets to private distance education students so that they can continue their education. Thanks to tablets delivered to families in need, students will be able to follow live lessons from their homes during the distance education process.
The campaign launched by the municipality of Nilüfer with the slogan “Support education! Don’t get lost” to support students who are deprived of their distance education because they do not have a tablet or computer, has become one of the best examples of solidarity.
Much support came to the campaign to contribute to students who had to continue their education from home due to the pandemic but were unable to attend education because they did not have tablets. The Nilüfer municipality teams began to deliver the tablets collected in the framework of the campaign to the homes of needy families, to students.
Thanks to the headphones and tablets given to the families who live in Nilüfer and who are determined to need them, students will be able to follow live lessons from their homes without interrupting the distance education process.
Stating that solidarity in Nilüfer during the pandemic period has reached the highest level, Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem thanked the charitable citizens who supported the “Don’t Be Missing” campaign.
‘HANGED TABLETS’ DELIVERED TO MUNICIPAL TEAMS IN BEŞİKTAŞ
Residents of the Beşiktaş Municipality contributed to the “ Suspended Device ” campaign initiated by the Beşiktaş Municipality to support the distance education process and ensure that students do not miss their lessons, and handed over their tablets, computers and televisions to the municipal teams to deliver them to their neighbors in need.
Noting that it has provided all kinds of support to the residents of the district since the first day of the Covid-19 epidemic, the municipality of Beşiktaş also took action for students who received distance education. It was stated that students who cannot follow their lessons because they do not have a tablet, computer or television at home will not miss their lessons with the Beşiktaş Municipality’s “Hanging Device” campaign. The Beşiktaş Municipality began delivering tablets, computers and televisions bought from benevolent citizens of the district to citizens in need.
The benevolent residents of the district who supported the campaign “ Device Suspended ” thanked the municipality of Beşiktaş and Mayor Rıza Akpolat for organizing such campaign with the students and expressed their feelings with the following words: “ We are very sorry for the children they do not have the opportunity to receive distance education. Our municipality of Beşiktaş has organized a campaign. They will help us pass on these tools that we have. We thank you very much, I hope our children are also useful. I hope it helps a student, a brother. ”
