Worker Osman Delibaş and Sultan Delibaş were married in a wedding held in a wedding hall in Cumhuriyet district last Sunday. At the wedding, which was attended by the bride and groom’s relatives, the guests dictated their name to a relative and threw them into the prepared box. The guest, whose name was written as Oktay Yıldırım, threw the gold quarter into the box. This person, who returned after a while, told the relative who was interested in the jewelry that his mother, who was unable to attend the wedding, would deliver the jewelry to the couple himself. I wanted to get the gold room back. A quarter of gold was taken out of the box and given to this person.

The Delibaş couple, who wanted to sell gold to pay off their debts after the wedding, learned that a quarter of the gold was fake at the jewelry store they went to. Examining video images taken at the wedding, the couple realized that the fake gold room was the gold room given by someone they did not know. The couple filed a complaint with the police.
‘DISCOVERED BEFORE THE WEDDING’
Explaining that the situation they faced caused them a great surprise, boyfriend Osman Delibaş said that no one knew the person who exchanged the fake gold for the real one.

Delibaş stated that the person who introduced himself as Oktay Yıldırım also participated in the henna night held before the wedding: “The man came to explore the henna day, he got information about me. He asked me where I was working, what work I was doing, where the wedding would be. He came to the wedding and gave the fake gold with the name Oktay Yıldırım. After an hour he came and asked for it back. This person was given a quarter of the gold from the box. When we went to exchange gold coins to pay our debt, we found out that one of the gold rooms was fake. When we looked at the cameras, we realized that this person had changed their gold. We complained to the police. They should take steps to avoid a similar situation, ”he said.
Sultan Delibaş expressed surprise when he learned of the incident.
