A magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea, off the epicenter of Izmir’s Seferihisar district.
While many buildings collapsed due to the earthquake, search and rescue efforts began on the wreckage. In the earthquake that lasted 15 seconds, 152 people were injured and 4 people died.
