Actor Hikmet Karagöz died at the age of 73. The artist, who is also an actor as a painter, said goodbye to this morning.
As a result of his illness, Kartal Dr. Karagöz, who was transferred to the Palliative Intensive Care Unit of the Lütfi Kırdar Municipal Hospital, could not be saved despite all the interventions.
The news of the death was announced by the daughter of the actress, Zeynep Karagöz. Karagöz used the following statements:

ABOUT HİKMET KARAGÖZ
Hikmet Karagöz, born in 1946 in Samsun, was a painter as well as an actor.
The artist, who began performing as an amateur at the Eminönü Community Center between 1962-1963, turned professional at the Küçük Sahne Ulvi Uraz Theater in 1964. In 1974, he began participating in television productions with Yaşar Ne Yaşar Ne Yaşamaz. His transition to film was in 1982 with the movie “Interest Attack”. He was widely recognized for his role as ‘Abbas’ on the television series Bizimkiler. He had been painting mainly watercolor since 1986.
He also starred in such television series as Karagöz, Memleket, Tatar Ramadan, Bir Aşk Hikayesi, and Deli Yürek.
