Pınar Gültekin (27), a student at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, disappeared on 16 July. At the request of his family, the gendarmerie and police teams launched a search.
The young woman’s ex-girlfriend, Cemal Metin Avcı, who was arrested during the studies, confessed that she strangled and killed Pınar with her hands in the fight, put her body in the garbage can of the vineyard house and put cement on it.

According to the news in the DHA, Pınar’s burned body was hit in the barrel at the location indicated by Cemal Metin Avcı. While Pinar was buried in the Hizan district of his hometown Bitlis, the suspect was arrested for “murdering with monstrous sentiment and torment.”
1.5cm thick rope tied
The forensic examination, which was carried out to reveal the details of Pınar Gültekin’s death, has been completed. In the autopsy report prepared by the Muğla Forensic Medicine Branch and sent to the prosecution, it was reported that Gültekin’s body was tied firmly with a 1.5-centimeter-thick rope and placed in a barrel in the fetal position.
It was noted in the report that a large part of Pınar Gültekin’s body was burned and the remaining part was combined with the concrete in the barrel, and the barrel was opened by an electric spiral in the morgue.
