The incident took place in the Mehmet Akif district around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Apparently, the Iraqi Arab businessmen who invested in NHM Turkey several years ago and was taking the threat to arm himself for the workplace.
A suspect who went to the logistics company at the time of the incident asked security guard Muhammet Şevki Taner (50), whom he had seen with the businessman before, where the NHM was. After arguing in front of the door for a while, the person shot Taner 3 times in a row and he ran away. Taner, who was seriously injured by the bullets in his body, died in an ambulance while being taken to the hospital. The suspect fled on foot. Police teams that arrived on the scene after the warning did an extensive investigation into the matter. It became known that the entrepreneurs were men who previously wanted money from him. Taner’s body was shipped to his hometown and buried.
A citizen who heard the incident said that he heard gunshots on the day of the incident and that many policemen were coming. On the other hand, it was learned that the police are working on the incident and those responsible continue.
