In the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the coalition government of the National Unity Party (UBP), the Democratic Party (DP) and the Renaissance Party (YDP) was established under the chairmanship of the vice president of the UBP, Ersan Saner.
The president of the UBP and the prime minister of the new coalition government, Ersan Saner, presented the cabinet list to President Ersin Tatar in the presidency at 12 noon.
Assessing members of the press after his meeting with Tatar, Saner recalled that he was given the authority to form a new government two days ago.
Saner stated that they signed a coalition government protocol like UBP-YDP-DP and formed the government, and said that he presented the cabinet list to President Tatar and that the new cabinet was accepted.
Saner then read the names of the cabinet of the 36th TRNC government. The names in the cabinet are as follows:
“Prime Minister Ersan Saner, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Energy Erhan Arıklı, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of the Interior Kutlu Evren, Minister of Finance Dursun Oğuz, Minister of National Education and Culture Olgun Amcaoğlu, Minister of Agriculture and Resources Naturales Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Public Works and Transport Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Ünal Üstel, Minister of Health Ali Pilli, Minister of Tourism and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Labor and Social Security, Koral Çağman.

WHO IS ERSAN SANER?
Saner was born in 1966 in Famagusta. Saner, who graduated as an architect from Trakya University in 1988, was elected to the UBP Municipal Council in 2002 and served as a member of the UBP Famagusta Municipal Council from 2002 to 2006.
Elected deputy of Famagusta by the UBP in the early general elections of 2009, Saner served as Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture in the government of Derviş Eroğlu, established on May 4, 2009.
Saner served as Minister of Public Works and Transportation in the government of Irsen Küçük, which was established on May 27, 2010, and was re-elected as a Famagusta deputy for the UBP in the 2013 Early General Elections.
Saner, who served in the EU Parliament as a representative of the UBP between 2013 and 2015, served as Minister of Labor and Social Security in the Government of the Coalition of National Forces UBP-Democratic Party, which was established on April 16 of 2016.
Saner was reelected deputy of the UBP Famagusta in the early general elections of the Parliament of 2018 and has been the secretary general of the UBP since June 2019.
Saner is married with two children and speaks English.
