UNION, OUR TOGETHER WILL BE OUR GREATEST WEALTH
Speaking at the funeral, President Erdoğan said:
We send the funeral prayer along with our eternity. May my Lord forgive your taxes.
Every soul will taste death. Just as we are sending Mesut into eternity, the same fate will undoubtedly befall us. May my Lord allow us to come prepared for this harassment. We are going through a very different period. We all know about the incident that took place off the coast of Izmir, we have about 1000 injured, almost 50 dead. It is not clear where and how it will be. It’s about being prepared. We need to be prepared for the afterlife as if we never died, as if the world died at any moment. May my Lord be our helper. Let Mesut Bey’s place be heaven. My condolences to his entire family. Our union, union will be our greatest wealth. I wish my condolences to our nation. ”
After the funeral prayer held here, Yılmaz’s funeral was interred at the Beykoz Kanlıca Cemetery.
