Ferhat Altın, who settled in the tent because their houses were damaged, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that the tent city was established in a very short time and that temporary accommodation needs were met.

Baran Çalışkantürk said he was at his workplace during the earthquake and experienced great fear, and said he took precautions by hiding under the table. Çalışkantürk said their workplace began to remain in the tent city with the severe damage and said the weather started to get colder and they were having difficulties. Çalışkantürk said: “It is cold inside. We have to stay by the fire until late at night. It’s colder after 2AM Outside, we’re warming up late by lighting a fire. Thanks to them they help with all kinds of food, clothing and fuel, ”he said.
