According to information on the website of the Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), at 22:08 a shock of magnitude 5.1 was recorded, with its epicenter in the Bor de Niğde district.

EXPLANATION OF THE GOVERNOR OF NIGDE ŞİMŞEK
Niğde Governor Yılmaz Şimşek, Niğde AK Party MPs Yavuz Ergun, Selim Gültekin, Bor Governor Mehmet Yavuz, Bor Mayor Serkan Baran and the directors of related institutions took examinations in Obruk village where the earthquake occurred and they met with citizens.
Speaking to reporters after the investigation, Şimşek said they conveyed their wishes to citizens in the village of Obruk, the epicenter of the earthquake.
Stating that there was no loss of life in the earthquake, Governor Şimşek said:
“There is damage in the form of cracks in some houses. We do not have a destroyed building. There is a bit of panic among our citizens, but I hope that we are with our citizens with all the means of our state. At this time, our supply team left from Adana, again to come to our tents. Get well soon. “
Bor Governor Mehmet Yavuz said the damage, loss of life or property related to the 5.1 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the district has not yet been reflected in them.
“Nothing came to us.” Yavuz stated that there was no information on the damage or injuries.
In the village, AFAD, UMKE, firefighters are assessing the damage to houses and the medical care team is ready. Anxious citizens will spend the night outside.
