There has been a new development in face-to-face training. Making a statement on her social media account, National Education Minister Ziya Selçuk announced that face-to-face education will begin at all levels of the village schools.
Selçuk used the following statements in his statement;
“We started face-to-face education at all levels in the schools of our village. Regardless of the number of students, the village schools will remain open based on our parents’ preference. The schools in our village, where I also read, are the favorites for education. “
ALL LEVELS ARE OPEN ONLY IN THE VILLAGE SCHOOLS
The village schools became the only school whose classes were fully opened after this decision. There are 6,200 village schools in Turkey. The number of village schools that are completely closed to education is 17 thousand.
STUDY AT THE PEOPLE’S SCHOOL
The Minister of National Education, Ziya Selçuk, was born on May 1, 1961 in Emirler village of Gölbaşı district in Ankara. When his parents decided to emigrate to the city, they left him in town with his grandmother, thinking that a man should stay with him.
He started primary school at the village school when he was only 4.5 years old. Although he was not old enough to go to elementary school, he was curious. But he couldn’t adjust to school. Because, in fact, not even the finger muscles were old enough to develop.
FOR THE FIRST TIME HE SAID “MY GOAT”
Today, for the first time, he described his experiences in the village school, which he described as “my student”, as follows;
“The teacher says to draw the letter A, I draw the opposite A and put two dots in the middle. I am a little boy, my mind is on the game. Whatever? I compare the inverted A with the eyes of the cow that I saw in the village. I put points on it. But they did not understand this. They thought he was retarded. Then we went to the city and there were problems adjusting at school. I always ran away, I stayed in the classroom once. “
After his educational life, he would improve when he reached the city center of Ankara with his family. But the basis of his coming to this day was established in a village school.
