These are the highlights of President Erdogan’s speech:
THE LOVE OF OUR AZERBAIYAN BROTHERS IS OUR LOVE
I want to begin my words by congratulating the victory of my Azerbaijani brothers in Shusha who fought to save Nagorno-Karabakh. Shusha’s liberation is also a sign that the liberation of the rest of the occupied territories is imminent. Our brothers, who have been neglected and deceived by the Minsk trio for 30 years and who have been waiting at the desk for 30 years with an unknown destination, have been patient in saying ‘men saberra zafera’ at the end of all this patience and achieved the victory. The joy of our Azerbaijani brothers, who gradually liberate their occupied cities and Karabakh, is also our joy. On behalf of myself, my family and my nation, I congratulate all our Azerbaijani brothers, especially my brother Aliyev.
CANNOT BE THE SPIRIT OF SEEING THE NATION DOING NEXT

Kocaeli, the new form of distinction of Turkey in this period that the greatest support we are still waiting for. 11,200,000 members of the AK Party, the largest and most broad-based party in Turkey, is the party that owns most of our nation. Anyone who breaks with the nation and builds walls between the people and puts himself in an inaccessible place, especially if he gets into the scourge of arrogance and sedition, no longer has a place in this party. No adjective can be an excuse to look down on the nation. We see change in our organizations as a way of welcoming our people rather than exclusion. We will strive to be servants of this nation, not masters. This state has never left the strange expat, the poor poor man alone.
İZMİR EARTHQUAKE
The Izmir earthquake reminded us of all the natural disasters that our country faced once again. Kocaeli is one of the cities that best knows the pain due to the 1999 earthquake. I wish God’s mercy to those who lost their lives in the Izmir earthquake. 24 of our 1,035 injured citizens are still being treated in hospital, 3 of which are seriously. After the earthquake, our state rushed to help the people of Izmir with all its ministries and institutions. Hopefully we will complete our work there in a year and hand over their homes to our brother victims of the earthquake. We provide cash assistance of 30,000 lire each to those who cannot remove their belongings from the collapsed and demolished buildings. 13 thousand lire for the owners of the transferred house, 5 thousand lire for the tenants. Grants are awarded to merchants of up to TL 50 thousand. Work is underway to establish two container cities with a total of 1,312 units, and they will be ready for use in two weeks. We finish the damage assessment studies until Tuesday. Our goal is to build low-rise, strong and comfortable buildings and offer them in the service of our Izmir brothers before the anniversary of the earthquake. Its price cannot be expressed in any calculation of place or financial equivalent. The residences will be delivered to the beneficiaries without payment for 2 years.
I want to say two words to those who try to use a common pain like the state against the state, the government and myself. The Izmir earthquake, for which they are responsible, is an earthquake that left the CHP under the rubble. Have there been no CHP municipalities in the vast majority of Izmir for decades? Didn’t you allow the steps to build them? Didn’t you give them their licenses? Are you not giving permission to build on wetlands? Now, how do you get up and try to bill the electricity from here? You are responsible for them. There is a president everywhere who screams horizontal architecture, but you prefer vertical architecture. This is called immorality instead of shamelessness. We tell you on behalf of our nation to either say no or shut up. Deal with the internal match fight, which is the job you know best.

We came to an important place by building a significant part of our cities to this day. We also know that time is limited. In the next 5 years, we will make a historic signature in this regard by rebuilding houses that urgently need to be transformed into risk areas.
