CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu attended the inauguration ceremony of the Çiğli tram.
The highlights of Kılıçdaroğlu’s comments are as follows:
“We said that the end of March was spring, it was spring. But the end of all seagulls will bring Turkey. All Turkey in peace, we will bring the association. I am very determined on this matter, I am determined. No power can ever turn me the way I believe. We will bring democracy to this country together with the people. We will remove the worry.
You will see in all the newly acquired municipalities, we will rebuild internationally respected municipalities with high financial power. Our tenders will be transparent as always, bring your man.
In our municipalities, all tenders are transparent and open to the public. Everybody should know that in Turkey, CHP municipalities work perfectly.
We will serve our own people, starting with the municipalities. They pay the interests of the world to a bunch of usurers in London. You cannot govern a country with a policy indexed to the exchange rate. Whoever you deal with, there is always an unemployed person in your family. We have more than ten million unemployed. The palace residents do not know. A salary is not enough in the Palace. There are 5 salary recipients. Its salt is dry.
Our mayors made history during the pandemic. Every effort has been made to eliminate traders’ problems. Tablets were distributed to tens of thousands of students. Opportunities were provided for thousands of children to benefit from the Internet. Like 11 municipalities, we aspire to do what the state could not do and we make the same call to the government from Izmir.
We do politics for the people, not to turn the corner. We do not see politics as a means of enrichment. There is as much difference between them and us as black and white.
The people wanted to help the municipalities, they couldn’t tolerate it. They confiscated the money and did not give it away. CHP municipalities wanted to fail. I warned our mayors; There will be obstacles in your way, and no mayor who must be removed from office from now on has the right to complain. I said if there is an obstacle, you will overcome it. They confiscated the money, what we did, we said the bill was posted. Tens of thousands of bills were paid and the municipality became an intermediary. So no matter which obstacle is removed, we will know how to overcome it.
I call the government again from here, do not put difficulties for our mayors, who are doing everything possible to serve the people legally. Under no circumstances can you prevent CHP from serving citizens in your own city. You have neither the power nor the ability to block. “
