Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that the 18th meeting of the Filming Monitoring Board was held.
Stating that the decline in the number of positive cases in Istanbul continues, Governor Yerlikaya noted that there was a 40 percent decrease last week.
Stating that the three districts with the fastest declines in cases are Arnavutköy, Beyoğlu and Avcılar, Governor Yerlikaya said: “We will achieve it together by following the measures.”
“THE RATE OF COMMUNICATION AT HOME HAS INCREASED IN THE LAST DAYS”
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca made a statement on his social media account after the meeting on the corona virus outbreak in Istanbul on December 18.
Noting that there is a decrease of approximately 30 percent in polyclinics, 15 percent in hospitalizations and 10 percent in intensive care, Minister Koca said: “The bed occupancy rate is 55%, the occupancy rate for care intensive is 65%. “Our film crews, from 658 to 1934, are making an extensive selection of contacts.”
Minister Koca called on citizens to comply with the measures and used the following statements:
* Together, the fulfillment of the measures and the struggle began to pay off. However, despite the daily decline in total cases, the home transmission rate has increased in recent days.
* Let’s not put aside the measurements while at home. Let us continue the fight together and without rest.
CURRENT SITUATION IN TURKEY
According to coronavirus data from the Ministry of Health on December 20, 20,316 new cases were detected, along with 3,546 patients presenting symptoms. While 246 people lost their lives, 21,218 people recovered their health.
