The tension that started with accusations that a structure allegedly led by Koray Aydın at the II Ordinary Congress of the IYI Party sent a “no-vote” list to delegates for the General Administrative Board (GIK) election.
IYI Adana Party MP İsmail Koncuk announced that he resigned from the party today, saying: “The first 3 articles of the Constitution, the definition of ‘Turkey’, the views of Turkish nationalism on mother-tongue education and the statements on the PKK and FETÖ by some persons appointed as members of the Council. It is unknown where the party was held with so many people who put themselves in the window ”, he said.
İsmail Koncuk, who gave a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, argued that there were dirty operations and tricks incompatible with the establishment, mission and democracy at the 4th Extraordinary General Assembly and 2nd Ordinary General Assembly of the Good Party.
Koncuk said: “While the emphasis was on ‘democracy’ from the podium to the public, on the other hand, we experience events that have nothing to do with humanity and political morals, much less democracy. Our fellow legislators and parliamentarians who worked for this party were taken on the blacklists distributed by many provincial heads on instructions from the Headquarters, and were clearly humiliated and tried to be liquidated. The strangest thing about the incident is that the legitimate demands of our friends, who were insulted and tried to contaminate themselves, were ignored and those who carried out this dirty operation were terribly insulted by the executives themselves and on television screens. While those who carried out the operation were obvious, our fellow victims who were victimized and blacklisted were blatantly accused of carrying out the operation, and a false wind was blown. Until today, we have acted responsibly and conveyed our opinions and demands to our Dear President, but we have not achieved any positive results. “I see the preference of the president in favor of the perpetrators of the blacklist operation as a clear message for us.”
‘IT IS DEFINED WHERE THE PARTY IS OFFERED’
İsmail Koncuk said that the İYİ Party was not well managed; He argued that instead of justice, transparency and decisive will, it was transformed into a political movement that creates chaos within itself and with its own hand and said:
“It is not the governance understanding of a political party to constantly blame others without making any self-criticism. Most of the members of the provincial and district presidents, administrators, delegates of the supreme board, and members of the founding board who participated in the establishment of the party were excluded or forced to sever their ties with the party. Many, if not all, provincial and district directorates were formed by the direction and pressure of a small staff in authority at Headquarters. Caught between Turkish nationalism and the discourses of the center-right and even the nationalist left, frightened by the socio-cultural events in our country, “Who will say what?” He is given the image of a leaf floating against the wind in an identity crisis, and intellectual unity is not understood even in high-level statements. Taking into account the first 3 articles of the Constitution, the definition of ‘Turkey’, Turkish nationalism on education in the mother tongue and the statements of some persons appointed as members of the Court, the opinions on the subject of the PKK and the FETO, it is unknown where the match with those people was launched. It is not possible for nationalists and conservatives to accept these mindsets at the point of representation. “
‘IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO BE DONE WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF AKŞENER’
İsmail Koncuk, recalling the statements of President Meral Akşener, “If they put a gun to my head, it will not be with the People’s Alliance”, “The public cannot be sure where the İYİ Party will position itself in the future. The main reason This is why it is known that the operative political intermediaries, who do not give confidence to the public, whose past moral weaknesses are known, are very influential in the high decision-making mechanisms of the IYI Party. Although these names, which the public looks on with suspicion, they are closely known to the president himself, they persistently hold high positions. Several preliminary preparations are made for the future by excluding from the party the names that will give confidence to public opinion. Hence, the objective of the ‘black list’ and the liquidation operation in the General Assembly of the Good Party cannot be considered outside the requirement of the 51 percent threshold, which is a great disadvantage for the AKP in the elections presidential. In any political party, we have enough life and political experience to know that an arrangement will not be possible despite the president. For this reason, it is not possible to carry out the operations experienced in both General Assemblies without the knowledge of Mr. Meral Akşener. The atmosphere of trust has been completely destroyed. In fact, this mistrust has become annoying not only for 3-5 MPs, but unfortunately for the majority of the TBMM group. “
‘I HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH THE GOOD PARTY’
Koncuk Ismail, Chairman and Head of the Central Administration of the GOOD Party, with an emphasis on himself, creates deep mistrust of this approach, “Turkey and the Turkish people do not see that such an approach can be a possible service.” If I had any belief that Mr. President was beyond what happened, I would stay and continue the fight; however, my findings show that everything we have experienced is within his own knowledge. We each end our association with the understanding of our own way, before there is more resentment in morals. I have no more connection with the IYI Party as a deputy and member. I respectfully greet both my deputies in the IYI Party TBMM group and my sincere friends who are administrators and members of all organizations. My friendship with them is lasting for me. Turkey and the Turkish nation of service, my axis life deviates from the principles I stand for, then I would step back from all public announcements, ”he said.
ÜMİT ÖZDAĞ EXPORTED: I AM VERY Surprised
On the other hand, Ümit Özdağ, who was next to İsmail Koncuk in the press release, smiled after the news that he was expelled from the İYİ Party and said: “I was very surprised. I will not give an answer now. I came to support our dear deputy ”.
