Following the increase in cases, additional measures were taken to prevent the spread of the epidemic. In this context, curfew restrictions were introduced throughout the country. According to the circular issued by the Interior Ministry, the curfew, which began at 9:00 p.m. last night, will end on Monday, December 7 at 5:00 a.m. So is it possible to travel between cities under curfew?
Intercity travel was also restricted during the curfew. Citizens who present an excuse will be able to travel between cities with a special permit that they will receive during the ban.
Citizens who have an excuse and will travel between cities with their private vehicle may obtain the permit through the E-APPLICATION and ALO 199 systems of the Ministry of the Interior or by requesting it directly from the Governors / District Governments.
Citizens without an excuse will not be able to travel between cities with their private vehicles during the ban. However, you will be able to travel in vehicles such as buses, planes, and ferries.
The list of excuses published by the Ministry of the Interior is as follows;
– Those who want to be discharged from the hospital where they are treated and return to their original residence, who are referred with a medical report and / or have a medical appointment / control previously taken,
– To attend the funeral of him or his spouse, first-degree relative or deceased brother or to accompany the funeral transfer (maximum 4 people),
– Those who have arrived in the city where they are in the last 5 days but do not have a place to stay but want to return to their place of residence (those who have arrived within 5 days, the travel ticket, the license plate of the vehicle they come from, other documents that prove their trip, and information),
– Those who will take the exams announced by ÖSYM and other core exams and their companions,
– Those who want to return to their settlements completing their military service,
– A letter of invitation from private or public to the daily contract,
– Released from penal institutions
