TURKISH AFAD EARTHQUAKE MAP
The most recent in 1996, entered into force in the Map of Seismic Zones of Turkey, AFAD Earthquake renewed by the Office of the Presidency, dated March 18, 2018 and with the number 30364 (bis) of the Official Gazette. The new map went into effect on January 1, 2019.
The new map has been prepared with much more detailed data, taking into account the most up-to-date parameters of earthquake sources, earthquake catalogs and new generation mathematical models.
