Ince’s target, who answered journalists’ questions, was Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry. Criticizing the rise in meat prices, Ince said:
* The Turkish lira has lost 35 percent since the beginning of the year. This means a profound impoverishment. Bayburt gets his share of this too.
* The per capita income is 2,237 TL. This means great poverty. They do not develop livestock in this region. Job sites are not open.
* For example, on the 10th of this month, the price of carcass meat increased by 2 TL. Raising the price of meat, without using raw milk, means “cutting the dairy cows.”
* If this is not ignorance, it is treason. There is no such agricultural and livestock policy. This minister must resign. With this logic, it is someone who does not know anything about these things. Only an ignorant can do this.
